Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and company policy.
- Oversee the general ledger, ensuring accuracy in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and provide variance analysis to management.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
- Manage and reconcile intercompany accounts and bank statements.
- Prepare supporting documentation for external audits and tax filings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial reporting and forecasting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA certification is a strong plus).
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or high-volume environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data to stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical problem-solving abilities.
