Responsibilities
- Manage the general ledger and oversee the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare, examine, and analyze financial statements, balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports.
- Perform complex bank reconciliations and ensure all accounts are accurate and up-to-date.
- Assist with external audits and internal control reviews to ensure compliance with GAAP and local regulations.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, verifying the accuracy of invoices and payments.
- Support budget preparation and provide variance analysis to senior management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve financial discrepancies and improve reporting processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or public accounting.
- CPA certification is highly preferred but not mandatory for consideration.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite) and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data clearly.
