Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Manage general ledger accounting, including journal entries and account reconciliation.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate payments.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Conduct internal audits and internal controls reviews to mitigate financial risk.
- Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights and support budget preparation.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA certification is a strong plus.
- 3-5+ years of progressive experience in accounting or financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (advanced formulas and pivot tables).
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or QuickBooks Enterprise) is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
