Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile invoices with accuracy and timeliness
- Manage accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments
- Ensure compliance with billing regulations and company policies
- Collaborate with clients to resolve billing discrepancies and inquiries
- Generate monthly billing reports and financial statements
- Maintain detailed records in billing software systems
- Support month-end closing procedures
- Train junior staff on billing processes
Qualifications
- 3+ years of billing or accounts receivable experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Sage, or similar billing software
- Strong knowledge of GAAP billing standards
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Certified Billing and Coding Specialist (CBCS) preferred
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
