Responsibilities
- Process and submit insurance claims with 99% accuracy
- Reconcile accounts receivable reports weekly
- Resolve billing discrepancies through insurer negotiations
- Implement CPT/ICD-10 coding compliance protocols
- Generate monthly aging reports for department heads
- Train staff on billing software updates
- Conduct quarterly audits for HIPAA compliance
Qualifications
- 3+ years medical billing experience
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) preferred
- Advanced knowledge of Epic and NextGen systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
- Experience with Medicaid/Medicare regulations
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Associates degree in healthcare administration
