Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Manage the general ledger, ensuring all journal entries are accurate, complete, and posted on a timely basis.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and inter-company accounts monthly.
- Assist with year-end audits and federal/state tax preparation under the guidance of the CFO.
- Streamline accounting processes, implement internal controls, and recommend process improvements.
- Prepare variance analyses and assist in the budgeting and forecasting process.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Master’s degree or CPA certification is a strong plus.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or SAP).
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and federal tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
