Responsibilities
- Oversee the full-cycle accounting process, including month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including Balance Sheets, P&L, and Cash Flow statements.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate reconciliation of bank accounts.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP standards and internal control policies.
- Collaborate with management to provide accurate financial forecasting and variance analysis.
- Assist in the preparation of external audit schedules and documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA or CMA certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., Sage, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of federal and state tax regulations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
