Responsibilities
- Lead the monthly and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Perform complex account reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Prepare and review financial statements and supporting schedules in compliance with GAAP.
- Manage general ledger activities and ensure proper internal controls are in place.
- Collaborate with department heads to improve budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Assist in external audits and tax filings as required.
- Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 4 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (SAP, QuickBooks, or NetSuite).
- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
