Responsibilities
- Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial statements.
- Manage general ledger reconciliations and perform variance analysis on monthly budgets.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial reports for executive leadership and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, local, and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial workflows and cost management.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, resolving discrepancies promptly.
- Assist in external audits and internal control implementations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (Master’s preferred).
- CPA certification or CPA candidate status is highly desirable.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Advanced functions) and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks).
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
