Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage complex month-end and year-end closing processes
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and general ledger maintenance
- Coordinate external audits and ensure SOX compliance
- Develop financial models for budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Implement process improvements using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Mentor junior accounting staff and cross-departmental collaboration
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks/SAP)
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, SOX, and tax regulations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with multi-entity accounting structures
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
