Responsibilities
- Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for operational improvements
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX regulations, and internal financial controls
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial initiatives
- Lead accounts payable/receivable processes and vendor management
- Prepare executive-level financial statements and supporting documentation
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar ERP systems
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to manage complex financial projects and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with stakeholders at all levels
