Responsibilities
- Perform full-cycle accounting tasks including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures, including journal entries and variance analysis
- Prepare financial statements and reports while ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP
- Support internal audits by providing documentation and financial data as requested
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP) to process transactions and maintain financial records
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting discrepancies and process improvements
- Participate in financial forecasting and budgeting activities under senior guidance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (recent graduates welcome)
- 0-2 years of professional accounting experience or relevant internship
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and accounting software
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Effective communication abilities to collaborate with diverse teams
- Proactive problem-solving approach and willingness to learn new systems
- Professional certification (CPA candidate) preferred but not required
