Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports in compliance with GAAP.
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual general ledger reconciliations.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.
- Assist in the preparation of tax filings and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budget planning and forecasting initiatives.
- Perform internal audits and implement internal controls to mitigate risk.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups) required.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
