Responsibilities
- Oversee the full-cycle accounting process, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger reconciliation.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP standards.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for cost reduction.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and provide ongoing monitoring and reporting to management.
- Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits and ensure all documentation is accurate and timely.
- Streamline financial processes and implement best practices to improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Master’s degree or CPA certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (SAP, QuickBooks, or NetSuite) and MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Deep understanding of US GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
