Responsibilities
- Review, verify, and process vendor invoices for accuracy and authorization.
- Ensure timely payments to maintain strong vendor relationships and avoid late fees.
- Reconcile accounts payable statements and resolve discrepancies with vendors.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures and financial reporting.
- Manage the AP mailbox and respond to vendor inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Perform monthly audits of the AP general ledger and assist with accounts payable reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate digital and physical records of all transactions.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of proven experience in Accounts Payable or a related finance role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or QuickBooks) is highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
- Deep understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
