Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the full-cycle accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict adherence to GAAP.
- Perform complex bank reconciliations and variance analysis to identify financial discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local tax regulations and reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
- Maintain and update accurate accounting records and ledgers using industry-standard software.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification is a plus).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial reporting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Sage, or similar accounting software.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
