Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance analysis
- Manage complex general ledger operations and account reconciliations
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with strict deadlines
- Develop and maintain internal controls for financial reporting accuracy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and financial modeling
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations for public client reporting
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance with CPA or CPA candidate required
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel with VBA
- Demonstrated experience with SOX compliance and internal audits
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in financial reporting
- Experience managing month-end closing for multi-entity organizations
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder presentations
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines in high-volume environments
