Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Oversee the full cycle of accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
- Lead the month-end and year-end close procedures, including journal entries and bank reconciliations.
- Assist external auditors and internal compliance teams during annual reviews and tax filings.
- Develop and maintain detailed budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses for management review.
- Streamline financial processes and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Master’s degree or CPA certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong working knowledge of federal and state tax regulations and compliance requirements.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to detect errors in complex financial data.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for presenting financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
