Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
- Perform complex account reconciliations, including bank, credit card, and intercompany accounts.
- Assist in the annual audit process and coordinate with external auditors.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting process by analyzing variances and providing recommendations.
- Maintain fixed asset schedules and depreciation records.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or CMA preferred).
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a public accounting or corporate finance setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or NetSuite).
- Strong understanding of US GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders effectively.
