Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements ensuring strict compliance with GAAP and internal controls.
- Manage complex general ledger reconciliations and resolve discrepancies with high precision and efficiency.
- Oversee the end-to-end accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate processing.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and variance analysis to support leadership decisions.
- Support external audits by providing requested documentation, data analysis, and reconciliation schedules.
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of federal, state, and local tax returns in compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and reporting efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (CPA or CMA certification is a strong plus).
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically advanced Excel functions (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, Macros).
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Oracle, Sage) is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and tax compliance regulations.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to present complex data clearly.
