Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyse monthly financial statements with attention to detail
- Manage complex multi-currency reconciliations and intercompany accounting
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes
- Develop and implement robust internal controls and compliance frameworks
- Collaborate with auditors during statutory and regulatory reviews
- Provide insightful financial analysis to support business growth initiatives
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process improvements
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent international certification
- Minimum 5+ years in public practice or corporate accounting
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Strong UK GAAP and IFRS knowledge
- Proven experience managing UK tax compliance
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
