Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with attention to GAAP compliance
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and bank reconciliations
- Assist with month-end closing processes and variance reporting
- Support tax preparation and compliance documentation
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls
- Collaborate with auditors during annual reviews
- Utilize QuickBooks Online for transaction processing
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience
- CPA certification or actively pursuing preferred
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication and time management abilities
- Experience with nonprofit accounting a plus
