Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records including accounts payable/receivable
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Ensure compliance with UK GAAP and tax regulations
- Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements
- Prepare VAT returns and supporting documentation
- Collaborate with auditors during financial reviews
Qualifications
- Part-qualified or fully ACCA/CIMA/ACA accountant
- Minimum 3 years' experience in financial accounting
- Proficiency in Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage accounting software
- Advanced MS Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUP
- Strong knowledge of UK tax legislation
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical abilities
- Proven experience in reconciling complex accounts
- Excellent communication skills
