Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Perform bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies immediately.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.
- Conduct internal audits and implement controls to mitigate financial risk.
- Collaborate with the finance team to optimize budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Prepare financial reports for management and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 3+ years of professional accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CPA candidate is a significant plus.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
