Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Perform bank reconciliations and intercompany account reconciliations.
- Assist with tax preparation and filing requirements for state and federal compliance.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable, resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in accounting or a related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA certification is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and MS Excel (Advanced).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail.
