Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with rigorous accuracy
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and SEC regulations for public clients
- Develop and implement streamlined accounting workflows using Oracle NetSuite
- Conduct forensic audits and internal control assessments for high-value clients
- Mentor junior accountants while managing cross-departmental financial initiatives
- Present financial insights to executive stakeholders through executive dashboards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate finance
- Expert proficiency in GAAP compliance and regulatory reporting requirements
- Advanced technical skills in Excel, QuickBooks, and ERP systems
- Proven track record managing audit processes for portfolios exceeding $50M
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and precision
- Excellent communication abilities for client and stakeholder interactions
