Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L) in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Manage the full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.
- Conduct internal audits and reconcile bank accounts and general ledger accounts.
- Collaborate with external auditors and tax professionals during year-end close and tax filings.
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing procedures to ensure timely reporting.
- Identify areas for improvement in financial processes and recommend solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is a plus but not required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite) and MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
