Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including GL reconciliation, month-end close, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for internal stakeholders and external audits
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and ensure compliance with SOX regulations
- Lead budget forecasting and variance analysis for departmental initiatives
- Implement process improvements using advanced accounting software (NetSuite/QuickBooks)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial strategy and operational efficiency
- Maintain meticulous documentation for tax filings and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or private sector
- Advanced proficiency in GAAP compliance and financial reporting standards
- Expertise in accounting software (NetSuite/QuickBooks) and MS Excel
- Proven ability to manage complex reconciliations and month-end close processes
- Strong analytical skills with experience in variance analysis and forecasting
- Excellent communication abilities for presenting financial insights to non-finance leadership
