Responsibilities
- Analyze financial performance metrics, trends, and variances to inform strategic planning
- Develop comprehensive financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and valuation
- Prepare executive-level reports and presentations for stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize resource allocation
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities
- Ensure compliance with SOX regulations and internal controls
- Maintain and enhance financial databases and reporting systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 3+ years of progressive financial analysis experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite)
- CFA or CPA designation preferred
- Strong quantitative and analytical reasoning skills
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Knowledge of energy sector financial reporting standards
