Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial operations and ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Oversee the general ledger and perform complex reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and inter-company accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and coordinate smoothly with external auditors during year-end reviews.
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance.
- Provide actionable financial insights and reporting to support senior management's strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA certification is a strong plus.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within a corporate or mid-sized firm.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Sage) and advanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
