Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including AP/AR, general ledger maintenance, and month-end close procedures
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance and regulatory adherence
- Lead internal audits and implement robust internal control systems
- Develop and optimize financial reporting processes for executive stakeholders
- Oversee tax preparation and filing for multi-state operations
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and SOX compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven experience managing financial audits and compliance
