Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and maintenance of financial records, journals, and ledgers.
- Perform daily data entry and reconciliation of bank statements and credit card accounts.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes by gathering and organizing financial data.
- Prepare basic invoices, receipts, and expense reports for approval.
- Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Assist in the preparation of simple financial reports and analysis.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles (prior coursework is beneficial).
- Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is essential).
- Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Effective communication skills and a professional demeanor.
