Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Manage full-cycle accounting including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with detailed reconciliations
- Develop financial models and variance analyses for executive decision-making
- Collaborate with auditors during external examinations and regulatory filings
- Optimize accounting systems and implement process improvements
- Mentor junior accounting staff and cross-departmental financial training
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in full-cycle accounting and financial reporting
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and QuickBooks
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and financial software
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication abilities for stakeholder reporting
