Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining our financial integrity. You will oversee daily accounting operations, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and provide insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Manage the general ledger, perform month-end and year-end close procedures, and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP and internal policies.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state tax filings, including estimated taxes and quarterly reports.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and inter-company transactions on a monthly basis.
- Lead internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and clarifications.
- Maintain the fixed asset register and manage the depreciation schedule.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA certification is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong working knowledge of US tax laws and financial regulations.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
