Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including GL maintenance, month-end close, and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing for 50+ clients
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, variance reports, and KPI dashboards
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations while optimizing tax strategies
- Lead audit preparation and coordinate with external auditors
- Implement process improvements using accounting software (QuickBooks/NetSuite)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance + 5+ years progressive experience
- CPA certification or actively pursuing (required)
- Expertise in QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, and Excel (VLOOKUP/PivotTables)
- Proven track record in multi-client accounting environments
- Advanced knowledge of corporate tax preparation and compliance
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong written/verbal communication for client interactions
