Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly financial statements with GAAP compliance
- Manage general ledger operations and account reconciliations for 50+ client portfolios
- Lead month-end closing processes with accuracy within 5 business days
- Develop financial forecasting models and variance analysis reports
- Collaborate with tax department to ensure regulatory compliance
- Implement process improvements using QuickBooks Enterprise and Excel automation
- Mentor junior accountants on financial best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with 5+ years of public/private accounting experience
- CPA certification or active pursuit required
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Demonstrated expertise in month-end closing and financial reporting
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience managing client relationships and deadlines
- Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
