Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance commentary
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Lead external audit coordination and internal control documentation
- Develop financial models and forecasts for strategic decision-making
- Maintain compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations
- Supervise junior accounting staff and process improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and cost analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of public accounting or corporate accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and QuickBooks Enterprise
- Demonstrated experience with financial reporting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience in energy or real estate industry preferred
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
