Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate general ledger accounts, ensuring compliance with GAAP standards
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with detailed variance analysis
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and bank reconciliation processes
- Lead month-end and year-end closing procedures with precision
- Develop and implement internal controls to mitigate financial risks
- Collaborate with audit teams during external examinations
- Support budgeting and forecasting initiatives with actionable insights
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting and regulatory compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience managing accounting teams and cross-functional projects
