Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements for Fortune 500 clients and government entities
- Lead internal audits and compliance reviews for SOX and GAAP adherence
- Develop and implement financial models for forecasting and budgeting processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on process optimization initiatives
- Mentor junior accountants and provide training on accounting systems and procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, QuickBooks, and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
