Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations for 15-20 client portfolios
- Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly financial statements with variance reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliation processes
- Lead month-end and year-end closing procedures with SOX compliance
- Implement process improvements using accounting software (QuickBooks/NetSuite)
- Coordinate audits and maintain tax documentation for clients
- Provide strategic financial guidance to small and medium-sized businesses
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of public/private accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems
- Expertise in GAAP compliance and financial reporting standards
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proven ability to manage multiple client relationships
- Excellent communication skills for client consultations
- California CPA license required
