Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliation, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and cash flow management
- Lead tax preparation activities and maintain compliance with federal/state regulations
- Develop and implement financial controls to enhance operational efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Conduct internal audits and process improvement analyses
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel (VBA a plus)
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, taxation, and audit procedures
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience managing financial teams and cross-departmental projects
- Active CPA license or eligibility to obtain within 6 months
