Responsibilities
- Manage high-volume accounts payable processing with 100% accuracy across multi-entity operations
- Optimize vendor payment cycles through strategic invoice reconciliation and dispute resolution
- Implement process improvements using automation tools (Coupa, SAP Concur) to reduce processing time by 30%
- Lead month-end closing activities including accruals, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Collaborate with procurement and treasury teams to optimize cash flow and payment terms
- Train and mentor junior AP specialists on best practices and compliance requirements
- Analyze aging reports and implement strategies to maintain <45-day DSO metrics
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of high-volume accounts payable experience in mid-to-large corporate environments
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and AP automation platforms
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and internal controls
- Proven track record of implementing process improvements reducing processing costs
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to reconcile complex discrepancies
- Strong stakeholder management experience with vendors and cross-functional teams
- Professional certification (CAPP, APFC) or equivalent technical certifications
