Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end closes, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Lead tax compliance initiatives for corporate clients across Washington and neighboring states
- Analyze financial data to identify cost optimization opportunities and revenue enhancement strategies
- Collaborate with audit teams to ensure adherence to GAAP and SOX compliance standards
- Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting and budgeting processes
- Mentor junior accountants using our proprietary financial management software suite
- Present financial insights to executive stakeholders through interactive dashboards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with public or corporate finance teams
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel with VBA knowledge
- Expertise in Washington state tax regulations and multi-state compliance
- Proven experience leading audit engagements and regulatory reporting
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
