Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, providing insights into financial performance.
- Ensure all financial reports are submitted on time and adhere to internal controls and company policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and efficiency.
- Support the external audit process by providing requested documentation and explanations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) and advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups).
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, general ledger accounting, and auditing principles.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team setting.
