Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close processes and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights to leadership
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and ensure timely processing of transactions
- Prepare and maintain compliance documentation for tax filings and audits
- Develop and implement internal controls to enhance financial accuracy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Maintain accurate general ledger records and reconcile accounts monthly
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate setting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables)
- Demonstrated experience with month-end closing and financial statement preparation
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with GAAP and IRS regulations
