Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to manage financial records, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with accounting standards. If you have a strong background in general ledger accounting and a passion for numbers, we want to meet you.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
- Assist with the preparation of individual and corporate tax returns.
- Assist in the annual audit process and provide requested documentation to external auditors.
- Generate ad-hoc financial reports to support business decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- 1-3 years of relevant accounting experience preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero).
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and Macros).
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
