Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and general ledger maintenance
- Coordinate annual audit processes and tax compliance documentation
- Develop and implement internal controls for financial operations
- Lead month-end closing procedures and reconciliation activities
- Provide financial consulting to clients on cash flow optimization
- Maintain compliance with GAAP and California state regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or private sector
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Expertise in tax preparation and financial reporting standards
- Proven track record of audit coordination and compliance management
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication abilities for client interactions
- Valid California CPA license required
