Responsibilities
- Lead month-end closing processes and financial statement preparation
- Manage complex general ledger reconciliations and intercompany transactions
- Coordinate external audit activities and compliance documentation
- Develop financial models for budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Implement process improvements using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Provide tax compliance support and regulatory filings
- Mentor junior accounting staff on best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience
- Expertise in GAAP and SOX compliance frameworks
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP systems
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
