Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) with actionable insights
- Lead tax compliance processes and ensure adherence to GAAP and IRS regulations
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls for financial data integrity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize budgeting and forecasting processes
- Streamline accounting workflows using QuickBooks and advanced Excel functions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sector
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software (Sage 100 a plus)
- Deep knowledge of tax regulations, GAAP, and SOX compliance
- Proven ability to manage complex reconciliations and audit processes
