Responsibilities
- Manage month-end closing processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and ensure compliance with GAAP
- Prepare and file tax returns while maintaining accurate tax documentation
- Develop financial models and forecasts to support business strategy
- Lead internal audits and collaborate with external auditors
- Maintain robust internal controls and documentation systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate setting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting and tax compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) a plus
- Proven ability to meet deadlines in fast-paced environments
